The day started with the breakfast as usual, and after we went to the kindergarten in different groups. Every group enjoyed there time with the children and we did different activities like a puzzle search, movement exercises, games with senses, searching games, singing, and a lot more different games.
Every group had a good experience and learned a lot about the communication with the children, because it wasn’t always that easy to communicate because of the language.
Some groups had a class that could speak real good English so there communication went very well.
After we went to the different kindergartens we came back and had a delicious lunch. It was nice to eat here and just relax so that we had time for ourselves.
Before we started our lesson plans for the next day there were some groups that presented there school system. (Denmark, Lithuania, Belgium – Flemish part, and Spain)
This was very interesting, we learned a lot from each other and
We think we can take some tips with us. For instance: More outdoor schools, a good day routine, special needs, …
In the afternoon we had to prepare our lesson plans for the next day. So we sat down in our different groups and brainstormed about the lessons we could use to play with the children.
We also prepared some games for the ‘casino night’, which consisted in each group who made their own game and share it with the other students.
Before dinner as usual we had the dragon story that was presented by Portugal. It was a good story and it was fun to see the tree different endings. This made it more interesting and got our attention.
After dinner we had the wonderful casino night, where we could present and sometimes play a game. We found out that there were many possibilities to play a game related with the city/ the park.
It was a pity that we didn’t have time to play all the games because all of them were really fun.
But we had a good time anyway.
