Iris Corremans – Stephanie Nuyens – Soetkin Maes

After breakfast they told us a story.

The story was about ‘A reading tree’. One day, the weather was very bad and the tree died. The people used his branches to make a magical powder and with some leaves, they made a book. The book about the reading tree.

The next bok was about a cat who wanted to discover the world. He started travelling and explored the world with all his senses. He also met a hedgehog, who had the same intention. He also wanted to discover the world.

Then we started to work in three groups. Each group had a different workshop: secrets of nature, land art and one about the senses. Each group had different assignements and we had a lot of fun.

After lunch we had a PowerPoint presentation about different kinds of land art. They showed us a lot of pictures. We also had a workshop about creativity and thinking. We learned to look about ourselves in a different way and decided what kind of person we are.

After the coffee break we had to work on the toolbox. We worked in small groups with people from different countries to make some activities that we could use in the future in kindergarden.

Our meal was prepared by the French speaking part of Belgium. They also made a quiz for us. After that we had some time to know each other a bit better.

Here you can see two students with their creation of land art.

Landart from a group. It is a person made with rocks.

Land art of another group. They made leaves on a rock.

Here  we were running in different ways, to make pictures.

We received half a star, and we had to find the other part and then we had to write  words that about us and what we thought we would bring into this programme and to the group.
